Young people aged 16-17 years are eligible for the e-service, subject to an additional safeguarding triage based on guidance from the Department of Health on Child Sexual Exploitation. Responses to these questions can trigger a safeguarding flag

to their record, which results in a call back from the SHL Health Adviser Clinical Team. Importantly, even in cases where users do not go on to request a test kit (either because they are not offered this option, or choose not to take it up) the triage responses are still recorded, the flags are triggered and this still results in a call back from the SHL Health Adviser Team.
