In cases where service users are informed they are not eligible to register (as they have entered an age under 16) and then attempt to register with an older age the registration will be allowed. However, the account will be initially locked. The senior sexual health adviser will be notified of the initial age selected and will contact the service user directly to discuss and to assess before users are allowed to progress though the pathway. Where a user is under 18 and allowed to access the service, the additional safeguarding questions will be included (until they are over 18).
